There are many manufacturers dotted all around the UK, and the South West is no exception, in-fact, the area is famous for its ice cream and pasties! However, there are very few packaging manufacturers in this region, so we are proud to serve our local and further afield customers with our growing range of products.

Sadly, a lot of packaging is still imported from other continents because of price and lack of manufacturing choice here in the UK. Our aim is to help turn the tide in favour of UK made packaging, lowering the carbon footprint wherever possible, and responsible sourcing of materials being one of our key drivers.

The paperboard we use does not use the traditional ‘extruded plastic liner’ on the inside, (which makes it harder to recycle). Instead, our range uses paperboard from Europe that is coated in a way similar to printing, with a special barrier coating that acts the same way as a plastic liner would, but comes off in the de-inking stage of the recycling process in any recycling mill - meaning the fibre from the tub/cup can be used again as recycled paperboard.
