There are many manufacturers dotted all around the UK, and the South West is no exception, in-fact, the area is famous for its ice cream and pasties! Up until now however, there has been no paper tub and cup manufacturers down here - so we are proud to serve our local area and further afield with our ever growing range of paper waste recyclable tubs and cups.

Sadly, a lot of packaging is still imported from other continents because of price and lack of manufacturing choice here in the UK, however our aim is to help turn the tide in favour of UK made packaging, lowering the carbon footprint wherever possible, and responsible sourcing of materials being one of our key drivers.

The paperboard we use does not use the traditional ‘extruded plastic liner’ on the inside, (which makes it harder to recycle). Instead, our range uses paperboard from Europe that is coated in a way similar to printing, with a special barrier coating that acts the same way as a plastic liner would, but comes off in the de-inking stage of the recycling process in any recycling mill - meaning the fibre from the tub/cup can be used again as recycled paperboard.
